The Agoura Hills/Calabasas Community Center Joint Powers Authority is currently accepting applications for two Student Board Member positions on its Board of Directors, one from Agoura Hills and one from Calabasas. The AHCCC JPA Board of Directors acts as the governing and policy-making body of the Authority in the operations, control, improvements and planning of the Center, personnel and fiscal operations. Student Board Members are non-voting members appointed to the Board to advise the Board on issues impacting the youth of the community and to gain knowledge and experience while being a part of the government process.

Student Board Members shall serve a one-year term on the Board, unless appointed to terms of different durations by the Joint Powers Authority. Term begins October 24,  2019.

Individuals interested in serving and being considered for appointment to the student member position should submit an application by 5:00 pm, Monday, September 30, 2019.
